On the 5th December Mary Robinson MP launched Cheadle’s ‘Best Local Shop’ Competition and when voting closed at the end of January almost 800 people had shown their support for their favourite shops across the constituency.

All the votes have now been counted and verified and Mary is delighted to announce that the overall winner of the Competition is Amaranth in Bramhall who received 157 votes! Congratulations must also go to Crafts by the Card Fairy in Cheadle, Chapel Holistics in Cheadle Hulme, Best Friends in Gatley, Going Dutch in Heald Green and Take 5 in Stepping Hill who were all voted as the best shop on their high street.
