On Friday, I was delighted to attend the end of year awards for Greenbank Preparatory School, at Parrs Wood Cinema in Didsbury.

It was great to see Year 6 given their leavers medals, and to present awards to pupils from across all years who have excelled in so many different areas academically.

I also had the chance to say a few words to pupils, praising them for their inquisitive questioning on their visit to Parliament in February, and wishing them every success as they go on to their senior schools.
