This week will see the launch of Mary’s “Your Best Local Shop 2015” Competition, which sees local residents voting for their favourite independent retailer.

The competition is being run in conjunction with The Federation of Small Business, I Love Bramhall, and Callaghans Estate Agents.

Shoppers are encouraged to vote for their favourite shops across the 6 district centres which make up Cheadle Constituency: Bramhall & Woodford, Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme, Gatley, Heald Green & Stepping Hill. Each district will have a finalist with the winner of the competition being the shop with the most votes overall.

The victorious shop will be crowned “Your Best Local Shop 2015” and will win lunch for two with Mary in the House of Commons with transport to London being paid for by the Federation of Small Business.

Mary says by voting in the competition, residents will be taking the opportunity to say “thank you” to a local retailer that they feel has provided an excellent service to them and their families.
