It was a wet and windy day in Bramhall but Conservative Party Chairman James Cleverly was in high spirits when he joined me and local Councillors to speak to businesses ahead of the party’s conference in Manchester.

We spoke to business owners at famous Bramhall fixtures like Crookilley Toys Emporium and Jim Hall Sports about their local successes, in addition to business rates and how Government can be even more pro-enterprise to support local businesses like theirs.

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome James ahead of conference to see some of our thriving local businesses at the heart of the community. I’m always banging the drum for small businesses and I know the feedback he received directly from them will be heard at the top. I hope to see our district centres like Bramhall continue to thrive.
