With their long term economic plan, George Osborne and David Cameron are securing a better future - for the people of Cheadle, in my constituency, for the North West and for the whole of the UK.

 I have campaigned to support our high streets and improve our road networks, and as I campaign to win back this marginal seat from the Liberal Democrats the Conservatives are the clear party of investment for Cheadle.

 This Conservative led government has created more than 137,000 jobs right here in the North West, and more than 1.9 million jobs across the country.

 A talented workforce together with improved road and rail networks mean that Cheadle will be at the heart of the investment - which is fuelling the economic engine room of the North West.
