I was pleased that the Government committed £24 million to support Manchester following the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena last year. This includes money for the emergency services, social care, and mental health support.

In addition to this, I was glad to have the chance to raise this in Parliament at Prime Minister's Questions, and to receive an answer from the Minister for the Cabinet Office that we will continue to support Manchester in all areas of Government.
