The Government has announced the introduction of a simplified, three-tiered system of local COVID Alert Levels for England to fight against the rising rates of Covid that have been seen across the country. This new system looks to protect the NHS and save lives.

The whole of Greater Manchester, which includes Stockport Borough, of which Cheadle constituency is a part, is under Level 2 - High restrictions. Many of the existing restrictions remain the same – social contact indoors can be with your household and/or bubble, the rule of 6 remains, there is a 10pm curfew for hospitality and you should work from home where possible.
