Last year, with the help of his colleague Dave Burke, John’s Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge raised over £5000 for Prostate Cancer UK and with your support he hopes we can exceed this amount.

John said “Two Summers ago, following a routine blood test at the GP, I discovered I had a high PSA reading indicating a possibility of Prostate cancer.  This led me to research Prostate Cancer in more detail, finding out there is currently no definitive test.  Every year, 40,000 men are diagnosed with the disease, of which 10,000 die.  Awareness is growing with campaigns such as ‘Movember’ and ‘Men United’, but more money is needed.”
