I chatted with the young people at BASF in Cheadle studying a wide array of fields from business administration, accounting to engineering. BASF is the world’s largest producer of chemicals and a significant contributor to the local economy, providing skills and training.

 With more than 1.9 million apprenticeships, which have been set up in England since 2010 I was delighted to see some of the terrific practice right here in Cheadle Constituency at such a prestigious company like BASF. What came across was the variety of skills these young people learn as part of their apprenticeships.
