In June I met with representatives from Barclays bank to discuss their announcement to close the Gatley Branch at the end of August.
I informed the bank how disappointing their decision was and asked for assurances that Gatley Residents would still be able to access banking services, including the extension of services offered by the Post Office and the request for more ATMs.
...I have arranged a follow up meeting with Barclays and Gatley Village Partnership which is set to take place next week and I will provide you with a further update in due course.
In the meantime, Barclays are hosting a series of “Tea and Teach” sessions with their Digital Eagles at Elm Road United Reform Church Halls on Friday 10th July, Friday 24th July and Friday 7th August from 10am-11.30am.
The Digital Eagles will give you practical and helpful advice on all your online issues – so why not pop along for a ‘cuppa’ this week.
